THE OLD AND SUFFERINGS

The old,
Next to the gold
Are the thing to be pity on
A son cannot ever measure
The love that they shown
Infact they are kicked out
By the one they have born
Do you know whats today era
Makes the older shut
Infact O lord
This world is a fraud
No one cares no one loves
Respect them
Protect them
Please be there glove

SMART WORK OR HARD WORK – WHICH IS NEEDED?

Image result for SMART WORK OR HARD WORK – WHICH IS NEEDED?
“If you want to succeed, work hard.  You have to burn the midnight oil” has been drilled into our heads a hundred thousand times. There is no magic wand for
success apart from the fact that a general sequence of inspiration ,aspiration, desperation and perspiration has to be put together to define what is called as  success. But working hard is just half of the real story. What further completes it, is working smart.  We are provided with 24hours in a day and what makes a normal man distinct from a great leader is how efficiently he handled his choices that make the actual difference

There is a very thin line in working hard and working smart. Before you can work smart you must work hard but in this day and age , its not about the experience you have had but how well you put together your abilities that make you valuable. Being smart is the need of hour. It is not just making  the smart choices  but reaching our goals faster and well organized. But for reaching the pinnacle of success smart work alone won’t help. Hard work put together  with smart work will result in your achievement. In  nutshell doing your best  everyday is something that is eventually going to define you.

College Life

College life a very important part of every individual’s life. We all are at a certain threshold after passing out from school. That’s when we have to take a very important decision. That’s regarding one’s career. School is a small institution. College broadens one’s horizon. It’s a bigger place. A broader platform to understand and prove ourselves. It’s a place where one is assumed to be an adult. Need to be more responsible automatically come in the way. It’s a place where we need to be a little more mature than how we were at school. It’s a place where we create a bigger foundation of our life. It’s a place where we find and create ourselves.
Though responsibilities are part of our life but friends are important too. Friendship made in college is an important part of one’s personal decision. Because we accept people judiciously. It’s not like in school where ever classmate and every person we talk to become our very good friends. Friendships made in college last long. And are deeper. And of course we learn to be diplomatic too. That’s an important part of one’s growth. We feel ourselves getting elder.

College life is a bound free life. Here nobody is behind anybody for doing class. Nobody is there to see who is bunking and where they are. That’s why amidst all fun of bunking there lies a responsibility of every student to understand that how much loss or gain they are doing to themselves by that. Fun and sincerity should always be well balanced. One should not happen at the cost of other. Otherwise we will miss out one or both. Some people get married just after college. Some choose to do job and some go for higher studies. Everyone have their own choices. So college life is a very memorable part of everyone’s scrapbook, personal diary, photo album or anything else. However it is, but it is close to the heart.

Life in a PU Hostel!

Panjab University, Chandigarh is famous because of many of its things like infrastructure, food, crowd and many other things and among these are its famous hostels. So basically how is life in a pu hostel?
To say the least it is happening and interesting. The hostels are an integral part of the life of a student where he has to live with new people in a new environment. And the hostels at PU provide the same. A new and interesting place with people of many age groups, fields and intrests. The seniors here are helpful and are provide every information you want.
Then comes the food and although it's nothing spectacular but it still is good enough. The free and fast WiFi also is a really good feature of the hostels.
And around the elections time, you also come across one more kind of people here, the politicians. The ones who come with all sorts of tactics to lure you. Theese people can show up on your door at any possible time even 3 in the morning. They talk to you about ideologies and all sorts of things and become frequent visitors. Also around this time raids are conducted in hostels to get hold of illegal immigrants.
Being a fresher and have spent a few months in the hostel, all I can say is that the experience has been enjoyable, memorable and even thrilling for this time.

All Alone

Here I am, all alone
Walking along like a mindless drone
The streets are dark, the lights dim
And the night forbidden and grim
The doors of sanity are shut tight
The voices in my head scream at night
Everything here is violent but quiet
And I drag along the demons I fight
The further I walk, the darker it gets
Here my facades no longer exist
I hear a muffed sound, while I stand on the ground
Into which I want to dive and drown
The sound becomes unbearable,
‘It’s nothing’, say the voices terrible.
Nothing but a child’s scream.
This was no dream.
I still walk a while, hoping to find a clue
But only if I knew
The boy was a step behind
I ran to the voice wanting to be found,
But what I found, not making a sound a sound,
Was a boy on the floor
Screaming, panting, breathing no more.
And above him, standing in gore
With a knife and a mind far from sane
Little did I know, the boy lying low
Was me and the one above even more so.

Wandering Thoughts

LIFE- The same word, yet different connotations. Sometimes we love it, at others we detest it, yet another time it lures us and all we ever want. Multi-hued like a rainbow but at the same time can appear dull and listless, never ending, like a dark moonless night. But then, love it or hate it, this is all what life is!!

Life is a journey that is full of twist and turns. Life is a book, a gift that is full of surprises. For those who enjoy every moment of it, life is quite short but we mortals sometimes find it to be pretty long journey which needs to be completed and that remains indubitable fact. Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich, a tragedy for the poor. Life can be merry at times and sometimes it can break us completely. At times we groove over our uneasy past and sometimes we think of our sparkling future. But whatever the situation is life always offers us something new to learn, something new to explore and a chance to discover ourselves more deeply. As years roll by we meet a new set of people- new friends some become our family while some fade away from our life with time and only memories remain. Life is not about attaching self with the bygones, it is basically about learning to detach yourself from the past and paving a new way. One cannot obviously be in the past and look for a brighter future at the same time, it would be akin to sailing in two boats at the same time.

In the words of Pope John XXlll-
Consult, not your fears, but your hopes and dreams. Think, not about your frustrations, but about your unfilled potential. Govern yourself but not with what you tried and failed at, but with what it is still possible for you to do….”

THE ALL NEW LIFE

THE ALL NEW LIFE

Every moment that changes your life, changes who you are.

From waking up at 5 in the morning to study to- expeditiously waking up just fifteen minutes before the class, from finishing up syllabus two days before the exam and revising it thoroughly to finishing it just one night before the sessionals, from a brief chit chat in the break to sitting for hours at the college canteen , from asking doubts from the teacher to doubting the teacher herself, from sleeping early to sleeping at four in the morning just to finish the last episode of the season of your favourite series….
Yes, that is how life changes on entering college without us even noticing! We enter into a world of like minded adults, supporting, encouraging and guiding seniors, finding someone who can captivate the flying butterflies in the stomach and running horses in the mind and someone you can easily talk to….
Some of the new things all of us experience when we enter college- ‘the best days of life when money is meaningless, independence is everything and friends are obviously the best homo-sapiens alive.’ Life indeed takes a toll when we enter college.
A very warm welcome to UIET which is a part of the most happening place of Chandigarh, having a full fledged world of its own, the Panjab University. Life at PU is an amazing journey with a sky rocket of opportunities. The evergreen environment, crowed by students of all departments and the 24X7 hustle and bustle brings an energetic wave in the university creating a lively atmosphere. Various events, elections, workshops, friends all help change your perspective towards and life and inculcate various qualities in you.
It is the time when you step out of your home and move in an absolutely new world called hostel. If you have watched 3 IDIOTS you might have a fair idea about what hostel life is all about. The hostel life at PU is altogether an exciting experience. You will be all on your own, your own boss throughout the day. It is like a massive sleepover every night where one gets to know about the hidden talents of their mates be it singing, dancing, bullying or proposing a girl. The midnight strolls across the grounds of university which is a small town in itself has an excitement of its own. This University never sleeps, the momentum is always set high and sometimes the track is set for a thrilling road trip.
From the late night studies at the all famous A.C Joshi library to the standard Paneer Thaali of STUC, PU has a diverse variety to look into. Dancers, singers, actors, musicians and the studious bookworms all find a separate space for themselves. The fests provide a time filled with anticipation, extreme happiness, some anxiety and wonderful discoveries. It is a time off from late nights and early mornings.
College years not only help you to evolve as an individual but also prepares you to work in the external environment like professionals; ultimately carving out a distinguishable identity for yourself which is essential in this growing world because its not the knowledge that helps you survive, it’s the person that you have developed to be through various junctures of life, leaving indelible imprints on the hearts of those who you have met in this short yet meaningful trail called ‘LIFE’ !
